Bylaws of the Mutual Aid Committee

Under the initiative of Henry Brunet-Lecomte, the Mutual Aid Committee was created in 1940 to respond to the needs of workers’ families. According to its statutes, any person working in textile finishing, whatever his rank or employment contract, was eligible for membership. The committee provided assistance in cases of military call-up, marriage, childbirth, Mother’s Day, death or illness, etc.
