Connected jacket

Second-skin dress

Connected Lady showcases the latest generation of Levi’s connected jacket in partnership with Google, known as the Google commuter trucker jacket. It incorporates conductive threads into the weave of the denim which allows the wearer to take calls, play music, and receive GPS or navigational information, all from the left sleeve of the jacket where the circuitry is housed. A luminous cuff button serves as a visual signal.  A simple touch of the finger can control applications with the phone still in the pocket.

The miniaturized electronic system built into this garment can recognize 77% of human gestures. Tests on a robotic arm carried out in 2015 confirmed its accuracy at more than 60%. Five years after these first attempts, the performance of the jacket has been optimized and it is now fully operational. It is accompanied by a second-skin dress.
