Connected running outfit
This QUS sport t-shirt is made from well-placed natural resin strips that increase joint stability, improve muscle function and even correct posture. It is also equipped with the latest technology capable of measuring heart and breathing rates. Motion sensors monitor geographical data, step count and acceleration. This data is saved to a cloud by a device weighing only 18 g, both during training and at rest and even during sleep. Furthermore, unlike previous generations of connected harnesses, the direct integration of the technology into the weave, using stainless steel fibers, renders it completely unobtrusive.
It is combined here with experimental leggings currently being studied by physiotherapists, developed by the Text’in platform and the company Optimov. They are equipped with a new generation of connectors which are capable of measuring the biomechanics of the lower limbs during walking and running. Introduced at the Rééduca trade show, this device, equipped with artificial intelligence, allows medical professionals to improve their diagnosis and adapt their patient’s treatment after 2 minutes on a mat. The patient can optimize their posture and movement to alleviate problems with motor function.
