Kimono and pants with sprayed gold on lace
This design is a world premier featuring white, pink and yellow 24-carat gold sprayed on lace, created in partnership with Daumet, who developed the process. This small, dynamic company has received an LVMH Innovation Award and is one of the promising start-ups supported by this association. The director of LVMH has a background in microelectronics and metallurgy, while their partners come from the jewelry industry. Together, they have made the customization of gold finishes their specialty.
This proprietary method, which involves spraying the material with pure gold powder, gives the impression that the gold has penetrated the fiber of the wood, the veneer, or the grain of the leather, and has multiple uses in leather goods and interior decoration.
